Have people on Yahoo Answers! started a boycott on my questions?!?

I mean, I have legitimate questions that I really need the answers to. Why are people not answering my questions anymore?!

Update:

I still have 2 questions open for answers people... I could use some help here.

    Abhaya, no we haven't.

If there was an Answers boycott - I'd have heard about it!

Sorry, I must have just missed them

I will take a look at them now.

You need to time your posting just right - early evening USA time is best.

And the choice of category is important too - choose a busy category like Polls & Surveys (though this is not a good idea if you are wanting good or specific information).

Anyway, getting lots of answers to your questions can be a curse - how does one choose a best?

If it feels as if your questions were "invisible", then you might be a victim of a known glitch that causes some Questions to never appear in the page listings.

One fix for it (doesn't work every time but usually helps), is to use the Edit function to add details to your question (even if it's just a dot or any character), a couple of minutes after you post it. In many cases, that solves the glitch and makes the question appear in the lists. Remember to do it soon after posting the question so it can appear in the first page, otherwise it'll fall to the back pages of the category and few people will see it anyway.

Also, remember to use a good heading for your question and be as precise as you can - that will get your Q noticed by people interested in whichever keywords you use, and will also help the Answerers to find your Question via Advanced Search.

    Hope this helps!

Nope Not boycotting ... I didn't answer because I do not now the answers, & don't just put anything for the 2 points, If I am going to spend my time writing an answer I am going for the 10points & answering only if I know , or have at least some idea, as to what I am talking about*

Because Yahoo Answers has become gay, and has driven away most of the intelligent people.

    why:

    -Their stupid filter

-Their f'd up report abuse function

-Rude answers, which we cant delete

This is the first question of yours I have answered. Try making your question more alluring and shorten the details, that may help. Oh yes, you are very welcome.
