Wedding color scheme opinions/ideas?
We have picked a date, and now need a color scheme!
We are getting married on 10/10/2010.
He likes black, red and white.
I like black, yellow and white.
My favorite color is orange, but I don't want to throw out a halloween feeling. I love love love bright colors, and his black/red just seems so dark and gloomy to me.
Anyone have any opinions on a cheery compromise? :]

You could use brown or green instead of black, as your main color. Then red, yellow and orange would all work nicely together, as these are the Fall colors.
If you really want to use black as your dominant color, why not combine red, white, yellow and orange for the flowers. Then you could use black crystals to tie everything together.

Hope that these helps
Autumn Theme
Colors: reds, oranges, rusts, and mustard yellows, burgundy & hunter, and wine & navy
Flowers: Orange Gerbera, Apricot Lilies, Rust/Burgundy hydrangea, rust Euphorbia, and mixed garden foliage including Virginia creeper.
Special Touches: fall foilage, hand-painted hydrangea candles, a plate, and a pedestal bowl in this vibrant fall table arrangement
Also A modern fall color scheme uses only chocolate brown with light-blue accents.

well you both like black and white. So use those two, you have yellow flowers and he can have a red boxer shorts. How fun would that be, knowing you were the only one apart from him with that knowledge!

why have only three colors in your color scheme? have black white yellow and red. i think it would be pretty. if you wanted your bouquet could have red roses and some bright yellow flowers in it.
