How do I remove the smell of urine from the couch?

Son slept on the couch last night and had an accident. How do I remove the urine smell and disinfect everything? Is there a way I can do it without removing the cushion covers and throwing everything in the laundry?

Please help... Guests arriving tomorrow evening!

If you're looking for a quick fix. Pour clear rubbing alcohol on the spots. It gets rid of the odor and dries quickly

Source(s): I found this online with a reply from someone else thanking them because it worked great while searching for homemade cleaning products for my friends mom

You might try mixing some vinegar in warm water.

Get an old clean rag and wet it down in that mixture.

Wring out the rag and take the rag in and lightly rub

across where the urine and smell is quite a few times.

Wring out rag and dip it again and repeat process.

Then, you might dip your rag in a mild sudsy water

and go over the spot with this to kinda remove the

vinegar smell. It just might work.

they have a scrubber that can be used to scrub the toilet, tub, or car and you can use the scrubber and put laundry detergent or lysol in a bucket with water and scrub the spot. it should take the smell away. try not to souch the couch up to much and if you want to dry fast use a blow dryer or leave the cushions in a cool area.
