Can you find shiny pokemon in Sapphire even though the internal battery has run dry?

When the Internal Battery has run dry do you mean that clock based events will no longer occur?

Because I played Sapphire and I played it and the internal battery was dry so I didn't get to grow berries or get everything in shoal cave

you can get shinies because I caught a shiny caravana ( idk how to spell, its that scary fish thing)

then my cousin STOLE IT AND DELETED MY FILE

made another the game still had a dry internal battery and he got a shiny zubat!

When the internal battery runs dry, it doesn't change the whether it's a normal or shiny, it just means you can't save after you catch/see the shiny pokemon.

The battery running dry has no bearing on which pokemon is shiny.

However, since the battery doesn't allow you to save, there would be no way to save your shiny.

saving is not affected by dry battery

only clock based events. you can save anytime
