Guys: what catches your attention about girl?

I hate when girls play games, I would classify playing hard to get in the category. Flirting is great, I'm into chicks that can hold a good conversation so flirting is good. A great smile always catches my attention.

It is always easier to figure out whether to pursue someone who lets you know they are interested. The whole hard to get thing is really just a childish game hopefully you will grow out of. I am not saying anyone should not take their time, but do you really want to drag something out over months when you know you like someone and could be enjoying each others company in a few weeks? Just be yourself and see if they like that person. If so... score.

Usually looks catches your first attention. After looks it's how well they communicate because who wants to talk to a girl who is a complete idiot?

my bf told me that he liked me because i was real. in our school we have a lot of preppy stuck up girls, and i am not like that.

we were good friends for many months before we actually started going out. so i wouldn't play hard to get, or be super flirty or any of those games. guys really don't like it. from what my bf tells me (he told me what his friends think cause i was wondering the same question) guys like it better if girls are just up front with what they want and what they think, not hiding and playing mind games.

Flirt like... a lot. It's weird to play hard to get. Plus you'll look like a nerd or prude.

When they talk like normal. I feel awkward when strange girls flirt with me.

pretty eyes and a pretty smile. "hard to get" is a risky ploy - if the guy is shy or uncertain about himself (and lots of us are), he may take that as a sign from you to move on.
