What's wrong with me??

I asked this in the wordplay section by accident so I'm asking it again. Thanks for everyone who replied in the other Q i asked.

OK so I'm going to list all the symptoms I've been having in the past week. (They all started I think on Saturday last week and by Sunday they got worse.

~~Nausea and some vomiting. And it was painful when I vomited. Basically it felt like someone had stood on my chest and back. But I have stopped the vomiting and I have gained my appetite back but there is more.

~~Sharp pains. we;ll they're not exactly sharp because I can't quite locate the exact points of the pain. I can feel pain everywhere nearly. In my upper abdomen in the right and left side. I don't think I've felt any pain in the central upper abdomen. I have also felt some pain going into my back where it feels more of a pulled muscle or as if I'm sitting in an odd position.

Then there is the pain in my chest. It just feels a little tight as if I'm wearing a slimming band around my chest although it sometimes feels sharp.

Lower back in the right. And on the lower right abdomen. At first I thought it was appenditcitis but my GP said it wasn't.

He said it was a urine infection and gave me antibiotics (Trimethoprim or soemthing) but the pain is still there.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be???

(I'm 16 and I doubt it's cancer because not only is the pain widespread, I don't dirnk, smoke or do drugs. and I haven't had any weight loss.)

I'm thinking about going back to a GP and explaining this all again. And if the pain is still there I'll probably ask my mum to take me to the walk in centre or something because this pain is so annoying. It isn't pain so painful that I scream in agony but it is pain and it's more annoying than painful. It isn't stopping me from trying to do my everyday activities.

But the thing is that I don't have a burning sensation when I pass urine and I don't even think it hurts.

Update:

LOOOL!

I am not pregnant. Unless science has come up with a way for virgins to become pregnant!

Update 2:

I'm a VIRGIN.

I might have an ulcer but I haven't thrown up since Tuesday and I just threw up acid. No blood.

Update 3:

My mum thinks it's trapped gas.

Got ya on the last one and got ya again. When you don't feel good you have a tendency to tighten up all parts of your body to deal with the pain. Trapped gas is a great possibility along with infection. Since you just started to keep food down again your stomach may be getting use to this and your gallbladder produces more acid to help digest the food. Since your intestines are tense from vomiting and then re-eating and not feeling well they will trap gas in the most convenient areas. Try lying on your right side for about 20 minutes to half an hour. This is the side of your body that does the most work during food digestion and where gas gets trapped the most. I know you don't feel good and I hope it is all over with very soon. One thing to watch out for and will tell you if you need to get back into the doctor is if you spike a fever of 103 or higher or if spiked fever does not drop within 5 to 6 hours with cool shower or tylenol. A fever tells us that our bodies are doing the right thing and fighting off an infection. A high fever or prolonged fever means that our bodies are unable to fight the infection and we need to see a doctor for some help. GL!!!

  • Are you sexually active? Any way it could be an ectopic pregnancy??

A few months ago I had a very awful stomach flu/virus which caused nausea and INTENSE stomach cramps, like someone was stabbing me in my abdomen. It felt like I had an ulcer or something and that someone was jabbing it. But I knew it was just signs of the flu, cause my Mom and one of her co-workers had the same thing.

Could you have an ulcer, however? Do they run in the family?? Are you throwing up bile (yellow fluid from the liver?) Be very careful, you may have a kidney stone or gallstones....do those run in the family?? He may have given you an antibiotic cuz he thought you may have a kidney infection, but obv UTIs don't cause vomiting so he sounds completely wrong. You def do not sound like you have a UTI either. Any blood in the urine? How long have you had this so far?

  • you might be pregnant
