Need help with neighbors cats?
I have a neighbor that feeds feral cats, I myself am an animal lover. The problem is I now am the owner of three cats because of this woman and my landlord does not allow pets, thank God he lives a few towns away. I became the owner because these cats migrated to my property, now there are others that keep coming, I have paid $600.00 to spay/neuter 6 kittens and 4 adult cats(through animal life line), I have placed these kittens in homes and took in the 3 adults. I really need this to stop, now there are two more who pee on my porch furniture to mark their area and try to nest on my porch, I have asked that she please try and keep her cats in her home so they stop coming to me but she tells me "they are community cats" and the neighborhood is responsible for them, none of the other neighbors want these cats either. Any suggestions? I cannot keep fixing the problem she started.
Victim?I never considered myself a victim and anyone who tries and makes me one is making a serious mistake. If question was read properly, I Do not feed these cats, that would be like setting out a welcome mat, I do not steralize these cats either, what I said was I had the kittens spayed/neutered and found homes for them(did not release back into neighborhood), I was able to find home for 2 of the three adults, so at this point I was attached and took them in, for all the above I am OK with. NOW the problem is that she has taken in more cats and they r finding there way to my property.
I thank all of you who had given me advice, you were(except 1) very kind and actually read the question and answered. I did call animal control, she has to clean up or be fined. Anyone who would like to come and trap these other cats and take them away is more than welcome, I will pay for the gas. Peace.

I would call Animal control , they will come out and talk to your neighbor, they will also set live traps to catch the cats and put them up for adoption.

God bless you for caring. Stop acting like a victim because YOU are part of the problem here. Nobody has forced you to do anything, you are in this predicament because you placed yourself there and now you are complaining because you bit off more than you could chew.
Call the humane society or animal control and have them take the cats as they roam your yard. I would personally crusade to gather them, one at a time and put them in my car and drive them there myself, if I were you.
You know all of those cats cannot be locked up in her house, so of course they will come over to your house. You going to honestly tell me you never ever fed any of those cats and that you just take them to get sterilized? Then what do you do with them, bring 'em back to your neighborhood?? You are part of the problem so do not blame your neighbor. You are jeopardizing your lease. What are you thinking???

i would not call animal control especially if its a kill shelter then DONT DO THAT!! I would find a group that will spay and neuter the cats and then release them!!
