White kitten with red eyes?

Question

I know very little about cats. I have dogs and am allergic to cats but love them. My daughter works at a very large auto recycler in New England. One of the men who work outside told her that he found a mother cat and 3 kittens in a car out in the lot. The car could have been moved to the crusher at anytime. She took the young mother and her 3 babies home. She is white and gray. She has two white and gray babies and one all white baby with very scary red eyes. The mother is a baby herself. The kittens are now about 3 weeks old and they are all moving about. The kitten with the red eyes looks healthy but what about those "RED" eyes, and I mean red. I am taking a stool sample from the mom to the vet tomorrow for testing. I will talk with her then but it is on my mind tonight.

Thank you all for the information. I was told by someone that the kitten was probably blind. As I said, I know nothing about cats. Albino hadnt even entered my mind but I just got her today and saw her today for the first time and wanted to do right by her. Hopefully it will get her a great forever home when she is old enough. I say she, but I dont know at this time.

Its a albino.
There's nothing to worry about its just an eye colour.
White cats are very sensitive to sunlight. They need suncream on their ears when really sunny.
I think it sounds really cute.
Im getting a white kitten next week. Its got blue eyes, i would love an albino, iv never had one but they look well cute.

Definitely sounds like an albino kitten. As long as the kitten is healthy I don't see a problem. It may seem weird but its fine. Just read up on caring for an albino animal. Remember, they are very sensitive to light.

This cat's creepy red eyes are nothing to worry about. It is simply because the animal is albino. When animals are mostly white, they are bound to have red eyes, which is nothing to worry about. Albino snakes, sheep, mice, guinea pigs, and other animals have red eyes. Albino means that the animal is all white, with possible red eyes. Hope this helps! Don't let it creep you out too long. :)

She is albino! You are lucky to have a cat like that. This means she is missing the pigment in her skin that gives her color and sun protection. Make shure she is not an outdoor cat. Albino animals(especially stray) are sorta rare because they cannot camouflage because they are white. Congratulations! Hope she is a great cat!

hi this is anny ,i wouldnt bother about the red eyes,people may say they are albino.   Not. its all to do with the refraction of light within the eye, if you look you will find that the kittys eyes are blue,and then you need to make sure that she isnt deaf, your vet can tell you this.

The kitten with red eyes sounds like an albino. Please do keep it out of direct sunlight, it may be extremely sensitive.
