I can't feel kitten's moving in pregnant cat's stomach!? If you're a vet please help!?
My cat got out of the house the night of May 19th. She came back on the 25th. Any time around there, she could have become pregnant. I did the math, and I'm expecting kittens, (hopefully) between the 20th and 27th of this month. So that means she's in about her 7th week out of 9. However, I don't feel the kittens moving inside of her when I lay my hand on her stomach. I remember when my sister's cat had kittens, I could feel them moving around all the time. I'm starting to get nervous. But, I have heard that sometimes you can't feel them because of the fluid around them. She is definitely pregnant, has a bit of a belly, but she isn't very big at all. She also has pink large nipples, and she's much more affectionate than she was before. What are the chances of having stillborn kittens? I need some help! I don't know what to do :(
I have done a TON of reading online, so please don't repost anything from various cat pregnancy sites, I've probably seen it.
When I lay my head on her stomach, when I get the chance to.. I can hear a small gurgling in there, which I assumed could be kitten movement, but it also could be gas or digestion. I'm really unsure.
Thank you...

If she got pregnant the first day, she's at 57 days and should be less than a week from delivery. If it was later then she's not quite as far along and you may or may not be able to feel the kittens moving. The only way to be certain that the pregnancy is progressing normally is to have her examined by a vet. If she's a small cat then her chances for complications are higher, even more so if she's young (under a year). Please don't rely on the advice of anonymous people online. Not when it's your cat's health at risk. Take her in for a quick vet check to be sure all is well. It's what ANY responsible breeder would do. They never permit a queen to go through a pregnancy without pre and post natal vet care.

i had the same problem about 3 years ago and my vet game me a brochure on it. here is some info that i feel like typing =]
FALSE PREGNANCY (PSEUDOCYESIS)A false pregnancy is a condition in which the female displays physical and emotional signs of pregnancy but is not carrying kittens. The cat's breasts swell and produce milk, her abdomen is distended, she gains weight, eats more and continually works at preparing a nest for the kittens she expects, but is not to have. The cat need not have been mated to have a false pregnancy. The symptoms usually appear after the cat has gone out of heat and may persist for several months. You will have to wait a month or so before you can determine whether the cat is pregnant or having a false pregnancy. After a month you can palpate for signs of kittens by gently feeling through her abdominal wall for lumps. As a true pregnancy progresses and the kittens increase in size, the lumps become larger. The cat with a false pregnancy will not have lumps, although she will manifest most other signs of pregnancy. If your cat has a false pregnancy, you
will have to cater to her idiosyncrasies. Tranquillisers and sedatives will help calm a cat that is constantly meowing, working on a nest or mothering old shoes or other objects. False pregnancies can recur. While the cat can mated and
bear kittens, there is no telling when another false pregnancy may occur. Spaying of course, will eliminate the
condition.
personally i think you should just take her to the vet to be sure, if it is a still born birth by some chance you need to get it removed before it becomes toxic to your cat ultimately killing it.

might have aborted or reabsorbed the kittens. once you're taking her to the vet on Monday - get her spayed at as quickly as so she in no way has to circulate by way of yet another being pregnant. She might desire an emergency c-section/spay if there are kittens interior yet they're ineffective.

I do not believe there is anything you can do to help. When a stray near our house was pregnant, I couldn't feel anything. I think you just need to wait and see what happens. If the kittens are dead, they are dead. I wouldn't completely give up though, because, as I already stated I couldn't feel anything from the feral one outside. She had four kittens, none of which died at a young age. One was sick but after a bit of TLC he came out just fine. =)
I suggest you just try to chill yourself down and monitor your cat. Set out a nice place that she can have her kittens, and look for it to happen.

Please get your cats spayed or neutered. One cat's kittens will have kittens, and more kittens, they'll have kittens.
That is why there are milliions of homeless kittens out there.
Call a cat rescue group - they can help you find foster homes and set you up with a vet who might spay or neuter for cheaper.
Control the cat population!
Cute kittens keep growing up - it is sad when no one wants the older cats. Very sad.
