I had bunion surgery 6 weeks ago and my scar looks terrible.?

The scar is raised and slightly purple. Will it ever look better? Any suggestions that you can give on what I may do to make it less noticeable than the bunion that I had removed? I am using Vitamin E and patchouli oil on it daily.

That's normal - I had bunion surgery 11 years ago and it stayed like that for a while. Keep up the vitamin E and try not to wear shoes that rub on it. After it's completely healed, there are serums to reduce scars at the pharmacy. Keep sunscreen on it when you have it exposed too - sun makes a scar worse.

Hope your feet feel better! I'm so glad I had it done - still pain free.
