Can anyone show proof that Obama is an illegal (or legal) immigrant?

Think about what they’re suggesting. If they believe that President Obama is ineligible to hold the office because of citizenship, then they believe that the entire Republican Machine failed to uncover the fact. A host of people and organizations from John McCain to Rush Limbaugh, the RNC and the FBI, CIA, Social Security Administration, working for President Bush’s administration, all wanted to stop Senator Obama from gaining office. They all failed. Yet these people continue to suggest that their position is correct and everyone else just missed this world-shattering fact.

It’s not a very smart claim to advance.

Englishman in KY actually hit the nail on the head as far as the problem with his birth certificate goes. I believed when it started it was a big thing about nothing but the more he fought showing his birth certificate, a certificate of live birth is not the same thing-I was born in Rhode Island but have a certificate of live birth from Tennessee since I moved here at 2 and it made things easier getting into school and all later-the certificate of live birth is a statement that the state issuing it has a copy of your birth certificate not that you wee born there, and then the legal tact of having the cases dismissed because the people (original was a Democrat and the second was an independent) based on them not having standing in court to file bother me. If he is so open and transparent why not just show the birth certificate and end the talk? The sensible/logical answer to that is he does have something to hide or why not just show it and end it?

To be a Birther, you would have to believe the following things: 1) The State of Hawaii faked Obama's Live Certificate of Birth. 2) That back in the early 1960's, either someone or a group of people ran an ad in a Honolulu newspaper announcing a fake birth of Barack Obama in an effort to cover up Obama's actual foreign birth. 3) That both the State of Hawaii and person or people behind the newspaper ad were part of a cover up and knew Obama would some day run for President as an adult and be questioned about his birth. 4) That Obama was part of this plan and cooperated with it fully knowing his full destiny. 5) That close friends and family were in on this cover up and presidential plan. Now some may call the birthers simple conspiracy theorists. I call them morons.

Somebody can prove that he is either a citizen or a non-natural born citizen, and his name is Barrack Obama.

You would figure with all the questions coming about his legitimacy he would just produce his long form and be over with it. Kinda makes you wonder why he hasn't. It is a simple problem, and a simple fix.

John McCain had to show that he was in fact a natrual born citizen. He was born OCONUS at a military hospital. If he had to prove that he was eligible why should Obama be held to the same standards.

And yes I do think we should make every president follow the same guidelines. It is in the constitution. If we keep making exceptions, we could have the Governator as a president because he can produce a short form certificate and suppress all attempts to prove he is not a natural born citizen. Why not just produce the long form and get it over with? Seems pretty easy to me.

Certification of live birth isn't "proof" of anything other than that he's alive.

If he was born here, why not just show the actual birth certificate.

Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981, he couldn't have used a US passport because the US did not allow flights to Pakistan at the time. It had to have been either a British passport, or Indonesian passport. Both of which, would disqualify him from being POTUS.

An independent research organization has studied the "COLB" and concluded it is a forgery, but it has been dismissed as Hillary would say, a vast right wing conspiracy.

Does anyone wonder why Obama fights so hard to keep his records out of the public hands? After a year of fighting the records from Occidental college were released and gee whiz, Barry applied for and received aid as a foreign student from Indonesia. So by his own admission he was not, that is NOT, a natural born US citizen.

I believe the burden of proof lies on the man who may be our president illegally.

Did you know that it is a requirement for the president to be born in America? That's why we need to know.

Perhaps instead of your Fuzzy Logic, the president could put an end to this by showing his birth certificate? I use some logic of my own, Obama isn't showing us his birth certificate, so either he doesn't have one, or he doesn't want us to see a bit of information... Fishy.

What I want to know, is how did 'they' know that a skinny baby from Kenya would become POTUS? If anyone can tell me just how 'they' knew that, decades ago, then I'll believe that 0bama is an illegal alien.

No other President has ever provided a BC for the press.

Most of his family still live in Kenya. Why won't he show his birth certificate? Why did the soldier who refused to be deployed to Iraq because Obama was not a citizen have his orders revoked and no disciplinary action taken against him?

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over

Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group Americans for

Freedom of Information has Released copies of President Obama's college

transcripts from Occidental College Released today, the transcript

indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial

aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the

school.

The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance

with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court

of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for

financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the

Fulbright Foundation Scholarshipprogr am. To qualify, for the

scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document

would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors

have been seeking.

Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and

there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is

looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House

as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and

qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in

London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon

Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue.

Britain 's Daily Mail also carried the story in a front-page

article titled, Obama Eligibility Questioned leading some to speculate

that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official

visit to the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups,

Justice Anto nin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on

Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve

as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey . This

lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as

president. Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens

demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as

president.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released

the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending.

This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in

campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for

legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr.

Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the

final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney General,

Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.!~!
