I do this thing where I watch shows, usually crime dramas, start to end in a matter of weeks. It took me 3 weeks to watch every episode of the Sopranos in consecutive order. I've done this with Dexter, The Wire, Lost, Monk, House, The Corner, Entourage, 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, and many others.

What show should I watch next? (It might take weeks or months, but I'll do it)

dramas would be preferred. please, nothing that would appeal to kids, teens, or exclusively women.

She sees retreating sea ice and thawing permafrost but does not believe the earth is warming. Any explanation is welcomed, but prepare to be torn apart.

So elitism is wrong because people are smug and full of themselves? I'd rather have a smug, self-absorbed jackass do a good job than a modest humble idiot running the country.

Please put Stewart's political views aside for just one second, they're not needed here. Does he deliver accurate criticism of policy or behavior to both Republican and Democratic parties. No name calling, no hyperbole, please.

anyone with half a brain can see that republicans and democrats have a lot of problems with their ideologies. why can't people successfully put together a 3rd party movement that combines the better aspects of the two major parties?

for example, i'm:

pro-gay rights

pro-gun rights

pro-capitalism

pro-states rights

pro-decriminalization of narcotics (particularly marijuana)

pro-choice

anti-welfare

i don't care for religion (you can do whatever. just leave me alone)

i want a flat tax

these beliefs aren't inconsistent, they're all defending freedom. its mind-boggling for me to see a party like the Libertarian party fail in nearly every election. why is this? religion? media?

i'd like to know whats running through his head when he signs people like wade redden to a 7 year deal or lets go of 3 players to get derrick morris and let him walk in less than a year.

All I hear about is how Obama is creating a welfare state and playing Robin Hood to help the poor and minorities, and of course this is criticism. But this criticism usually comes from conservatives. And the majority of conservatives are Christians.

Jesus encouraged the young rich man to sell his possessions to feed the poor. He wanted people to shelter the homeless and clothe the naked. Blessed be the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of God.

These ideologies don't match up.

Conservatives: No handouts

Christians: Hand that **** out like there's no tomorrow

wouldn't you have to be against medicare to keep your values consistent? Its basically the same thing.

No seriously. Why would an 18 year old white college student travel from Hawaii to Africa to have a child? It doesn't make any sense.
