Fully surrendering yourself to God?? kinda long?

Its very easy....all you have to do is accept that Jesus christ died on the cross for your sins. Admit that you are sinner on your way to eternal seperation from God, and that you want Jesus to come and live inside your heart.

Pray that out loud to him, and believe every word of it, and you will be saved!

Romans 3:10-12

Well first really know this is what you want to know, that you have faith that God is real and loves you, and that he died just to save you! (the whole dying on the cross for your sins thing :)). The next thing to remember is it isnt so much you feel like an entirely different person, but in a way you do. It's more about how it transforms your life, not like a feeling right when you do it. It's where your focus is and how relying on God always ends up better, and how miraculous and amazing having a relationship with Him is. This isnt "catholic", it's Christian if anything, but all Jesus asked of us was to "pick up our crosses and follow him" so to surrender our lives (and keep surrendering), chosing to live His way instead of trying to hold onto our way/lives. All you need to do is show repentence, so that you're sorry for the things you've done wrong, that you believe that God is real and that he loves you, died for you, and lastly accept Him, or tell Him that you want Him to come into your life and change you, to live for Him. You can do it in your room, anywhere you want. Eventually most people get baptized as it signifys and tells the world you're not ashamed and shows how you belong to him :) But gettnig baptized isnt a requirement at all. Thats all and then you've accepted God's gift to become His child and you're going to heaven :) If you let Him, he really can change your life. It's a constant battle, and though we keep messing up and nobodies perfect, the fact that He loves us the same and is always there to pick us up again is incredible. Oh and you can pray to Him whenever you want, you dont have to be in a church, it's about a relationship with God, not a religion per say. God never asked us to pay for our sins, that's what he died for! And also the bible doesnt mention pergatory. If you have any questions give me an email and I'd be happy to explain. You honestly realize, once you've found Him and almost left Him again, how empty and meaningless life is without Him, and He really does bless you, even though some things are tough to understand. You will have a hard time getting any respect in here and will draw the ire of many an atheist, with little regard to your feelings and age. If you are truly seeking to know God, this is a bad place to do so. R&S is a dark alley and there's plenty of danger lurking in this darkness.

All of these people are being rude and rediuclous. I dont know much about Catholic, Im christian. So I am not sure what they are like, butm I did something like this... I sat down, bowed my head and prayed for him to come into my heart and accept me as his child. I apolagized for my sins and asked for forgivness, and told him my heart was now his. Say what you really feel. Start trying to be a better person - not telling as many lies, being kind and caring, ect. Maybe try going to a local church or youth group, or go with a friend if you cant. Good luck and I hope the same kinds of things apply for your religion! It is wonderful to give your heart. :P

I recommend that you join the youth ministry at your parish. You will learn how to have relationship with God and a bit about your religion. You will also find friends who are doing the same thing.

its something you do in your heart. if youwant to be a catholic then you must talk to the preist..to get classes and you would make your first confession for absolution..complete forgiveness of your sins

if not you just pray.. accept jesus... confess your sins in prayer to God. And start learning... reading the bible, praying etc.

after that when you start learning what is right.. do your best to stay that way and grow in christ.

It is probably not your trip. They are just deluding themselves and will realize later that their words are empty and they don't have a clue what surrendering is all about. Just ignore them and study your homework. Eventually you will be able to meet intelligent people.

from your question you already believe that God exist and i am sure you know He died on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day if you truly believe this in your heart pray with me Jesus forgive me for i have sinned I love you and believe that you died that i may have life and you rose again on the third day I want you to come into my heart and live forever thank you for saving my soul amen and amen if you believe that Jesus did this tell some one and or email me you can verify that you are saved by the Scripture in Romans 10:9,10 you already were you just had to receive Him in your heart and you just did congratulations

People feel a sence of releif once they surrender themselves to God. Reason being is they have shunned any personel responcibility in thier lives. I wish I could help you with youre choice but I fear there is little I can help you with.

You see, no one's going to help you, because there isn't anybody out there to do it. No one.

We're all just complicated arrangements of atoms and subatomic particles - we don't live.

But our atoms do move about in such a way as to give us identity and consciousness.

We don't die; our atoms just rearrange themselves.

There is no God. There can be no God; it's ridiculous to think in terms of a superior being.

An inferior being, maybe, because we, we who don't even exist, we arrange our lives with more order

and harmony than God ever arranged the earth.

We measure; we plot; we create wonderful new things. We are the architects of our own existence.

What a lunatic concept to bow down before a God who slaughters millions of innocent children,

slowly and agonizingly starves them to death, beats them, tortures them, rejects them.

What folly to even think that we should not insult such a God, damn him, think him out of existence.

It is our duty to think God out of existence. It is our duty to insult him. **** you, God!

It is the duty of all human beings to think God out of existence. Then we have a future.

Because then - and only then - do we take full responsibility for who we are.

And that's what you must do, think God out of existence; take responsibility for who you are.

The first thing you should surrender is your Catholic religion then you surrender yourself by becoming a Protestant.
