If a husband has a porn addiction is an intervention taking away tissue or watching him in a group setting?

Update:

It's a joke people...obviously porn addiction ends with tissue and would be quite comical if viewed on A&E's "Intervention" show with the mans unit fuzzed out now wouldn't it? It's such a new, silly term it wasn't used even 5 years ago. One would think a porn addiction would lead to sores on a guys unit.

Update 2:

hey beenthere...how would taking away the tissue and watching a guy yank one to porn enable a guy? He'd just "spill the beans" on a hand towel and crap in the chair as he's been caught.

No an intervention is when you go in front of a professional whether you like it or not, and the people that care about you all at the same time. Usually you'll get the ultimatum that either you get professional help, or you WILL lose pretty much any kind of support, and usually even contact from all the people you love the most. The counselor, or psychiatrist then tells you what kind of help you need to get, and at that point it's up to you whether you choose addiction or everything that truly matters. Taking away your tissue and watching you in a group setting would only be enabling you. GET HELP!!! Good Luck!!
