Best diaper/pull up brand for overnight?

My son is 2 1/2 and we are potty training. He's doing so well! During the day, we don't have to have him in pull-ups, he always tells us when he has to go.

He just hasn't started to wake up yet at night to pee. He still pees in his sleep, and he LEAKS bad, almost every night and I am sick of changing his sheets. Of course, I don't get upset or make it a big deal in front of him, but I know he and I both could use a restful night's sleep.

We use huggies pull-ups for overnight- they aren't working. Diapers don't really fit him anymore either. The pull-ups 2T-3T are too small, so we use the 3T-4T, which fit okay. We also stop giving him liquids after 7:30pm and make him urinate before he goes to bed. I'd say 5 times a week, he leaks at night.

Has anyone found a brand of pull-up that works overnight? ANy suggestions? I'm not in a rush to totally potty train him, I just want the leaks to stop.

Thanks!!

Update:

He's such a sound hard sleeper, I don't think he can feel the urge to pee when asleep.

Have you tried the pampers size 7 diapers? That's the diaper I use on my 4 yr old and they are plenty big for him. I prefer the pampers diaper to most because of the fit and absorbency. If it still is an issue, you may want to think about using a cloth diaper and plastic pants at night. I have been thinking about changing over to cloth for my son at night. I already have plenty of diaper pins and some of the plastic diaper covers, we just need the diapers. But since he is 4 I'm not sure if I want to change from disposable diapers to cloth diapers. Good luck.

Well my LO is still in size 2-3 in Pampers Swaddlers however you can't use em for an over night diaper so I use the Up & Up Target brand ones and they work beautifully. Not to mention I get 40 diapers for $6

I found that pull-ups has an overnight pull-up it worked for me with my little girl, and I don't know if it is late but a thought just put a puppy pad under him in the bed, that would work with the changing the sheets thing. A puppy pad cause I am not sure they sell something like that for kids as a quick fix unless you buy a whole mattress pad, good luck.

Tranquility makes Toddler+ sizes that have 10.2 ounce fluid capacity. They are sold online at Dignity With Diapers and they'd be happy to send you a free sample! They are refastenable tape tab style though but should definitely stop the "leaks".

there is some extra padding they sell in the diaper section that you can put in with the diaper its like wearing two diapers. to be honest I never used them for my son but i heard they work. hope this helps. and good luck with the potty training.

I left my daughters undies on and did not give her fluids 3 hours before bed time. they can feel the pee pee start to come out and go potty. And they will wet the bed, so be prepared to buy undies (10 pair). Id rather invest in undies rather than throw away my money.
