Dividing the laptop hard dics that contain OS?
Now my laptop hard disc have 2 partition, C:/ (100Gb) and D:/(60Gb).
I install window vista platform on C partition.
Later, I thinking to dividing the hard disc into 3 part because thinking to installing Ubuntu. Dual platform. My suggestion is dividing the 100Gb one into 50Gb+50Gb.
But, I afraid if it will interupt the already installed platform. Its only my perception, because I never testing it before. Im newbie.

The more partitions you have, the less lifetime your drive has.
I suggest using one drive per OS. It's just easier and safer, and less costly in the long run.
