I am using Window 7, and standard laptop. When connect to internet, I realized that my laptop consume much internet bandwith, which quite frustating since I only have access to limited internet quota per day.

200Mb can be finish in less than 1 hours, which is unusual since before this it can lasting few days. What is your suggestion? Any software or feeware that can limit my bandwith for let say 20Kb per second?

Five years ago I register an email under domain yahoo canada. I use yahoo.ca instead of yahoo.com since at the time yahoo canada server run faster than yahoo.com

Years later, I realized that yahoo.ca domain Is extremely not popular among us, which prefer use yahoo.com instead. My default email example123@yahoo.ca, which clearly use yahoo.ca services, but some friend thought it was typo I use yahoo.ca domain so they wrote my email as example123@yahoo.com instead. So some important emails did my contact sent to me loss already due to typo, mistakes between yahoo.ca and yahoo.com

My question is, how to resolve this problems? My plans is to claims example123@yahoo.com as my secondary email, and use example123@yahoo.ca as first email.But seems Yahoo1 ddnt allows me to do that.. Any solution?

I'm the Vista user, and installing avast 4.8 free for virus protection.

One day, my laptop faced with problems, so by using restore point, I restore my laptop back to 1 week before. Generally my laptop work well after restoration, except my avast! antivirus.

I believe my avast! may be corrupt because the restoration. I tried to uninstall it, but I fail. I also tried to delete the avast files in Program File, but my laptop prevent it.

Any idea how to uninstall my old avast?

It give me problem because when I want install the new Kaspersky antivirus, the warning will ask me to uninstall my Avast first, although my avast actually not work.

Now my laptop hard disc have 2 partition, C:/ (100Gb) and D:/(60Gb).

I install window vista platform on C partition.

Later, I thinking to dividing the hard disc into 3 part because thinking to installing Ubuntu. Dual platform. My suggestion is dividing the 100Gb one into 50Gb+50Gb.

But, I afraid if it will interupt the already installed platform. Its only my perception, because I never testing it before. Im newbie.

I'm hard user of internet, and I will using at least 6 hour internet per day. Usually, when I searching some information, I will using all 4 different web browser (Safari, IE8.0, Firefox, Chrome etc).

But lately, IE8 is not running smoothly, and sometimes stack for minutes. It cannot be uninstall, then re-install it back, like what I do on firefox. How to overcome this?

what happen to my laptop? Yesterday, I tried to compressing my Disc, to save space memory. After all the process settle, it said I was saving 11% my memory space. The process required me to allow computer to restart. Then, when it restart, it only shutdown, and not restart.

The command is 'bootmngr, press ctrl+alt+delete to restart. I tried to follow the command, but after a second the command appears again.

what the problem?
