this is what religion does to people's minds, it makes the mind so faithfully blind on the rules and beliefs of religion that when someone even dare defies anothers' small religous belief, there is going to be a GIANT war to erupt. people r simple what can i say eh

The main difference is that christians believe Jesus was God or the son of God, where Muslims believe he was a great prophet. Muslims, in their respect to Jesus, should be the closest to Christianity, but this is not the case. This can be attributed to the competetion of the two religions to win converts and the history of the crusaders.

"Crucified" you mean. And it can't be just that. A lot of people don't believe that Jesus was crucified. There's even a group that believe that Jesus dies in Japan. I think it has more to do with the Holy Land thing. But over all, it's just a difference of opinion. Some Christians are at war with anyone who isn't a Christian.

No, there was rather more to it than that. As well as the whole disagreement over whether Mohammed was a prophet or not, the whole thing could also be interpreted as a reaction against the expansion of the Turkish Empire. I am referring of course to the Crusades, as that was the only time when Christians in general were at war with Muslims in general.

It's more than that. The Koran criticizes Christians (along with Jews) for not accepting Mohammad as a messenger of God.

Mohammad also rejected Jesus as the Son of God (which is a core part of any Christian sect). So Christians did not accept his message.
