How do you stay strong in a TEMPORARY long distance relationship?
My Girlfriend of a year and a half have been dying to move in together. we both live with our parents but they both agree to let us move out and in with each other. GREAT! only problem is we live in New Mexico and the job opportunity down there is pretty terrible. the only way we can have our dream come true is for me to move to colorado in with my mother and take a position i got down there which will make me good enough money to move out in at least 6 months and her moved in by the 8th month. i know i love her very much but i feel over stressed i get feelings of tension and i get the "why do i have to do all the work?" or "would she have done this for me?" feelings which sorta depress me. now i know it will all be worth it in the end i was just wondering how one overcomes these feelings and "mans up" so to speak?
Please help?
:) thx very much!

Well thats very exciting that yall could be moving in together soon! I suggest that in your delima the very first thing you need to do is talk to her, which you might have already done. It is important that she understands how you are feeling and what you are willing to do in order to truly be with her. Maybe see if she would be willing to get a job and or place a certain percentage of her income into helping yall to get a place. Chances are if she loves you she will be willing to do this and help out if her financial situation allows for it. Plus if it works for her to help she might be able to move in by the sixth month or sooner.
Another tip is that if yall are apart for six months do whatever you can to still make her feel special. Video chat, email, call and always remind her that yall being apart temporarily is leading up to being as close as possible! good luck with everything!
