Do you think it is okay to protest w/ firearms brandished at the President?
The misinformation is going to far this time. This GOP right wing extremism has to stop. I wouldn't brandish arms at the president .
Would you?
do you thinks its okay to tote fire arms where a president is speaking?
being that they are not in favor of the presidents polices. what if some one gets all passionate about the argument and points the gun at him?
Well it seems to me that anyone who walks around with guns at a presidential speech should have them taken away.
Bad things seem to happen to Presidents when guns are around.
take Kennedy and Reagan for example.

No, it is completely!!! unamerican.
To Protest is fine. To speak up when its your turn at the town meeting and tell him your concerns about health care reform is fine. To make up pamphlets and pass them around is fine. Even to hoot and holler in a protest group outside before the event begins.
But to bring guns, semi-automatics no less, threatens not just the President, but lays a severe level of intimidation on those who would speak up for being in favor of health care reform.
Please, I beg congress-if they can have like one emergency session--to act on this. Make some rules regarding guns and proximity to the President. Heck, because of the intimidation of those who might attend those meetings, keep them far away. Allow protesters by all means. But not guns.
Allowing Guns that close to Obama is just lunacy. Utter lunacy! You gotta give it up to him, he's got balls the size of Greenland.

Seriously, we all have the right to bear arms, and that is a constitutional right, they were not brandished AT the president ...they were protesting close by and do you really think/believe those guns were loaded?? I highly highly doubt it. An unloaded gun is nothing more then a metal baseball bat....hummm now the playing field seems fair

He didn't "brandish" it at the President. He was outside of the Convention Center. If he had shown it anywhere near the President he would have been taken out by the Secret Service. And they would have asked questions later. Who's spreading misinformation now?

It's slung across his back, that's not brandishing. He's not waving it in the air or pointing it at anyone (that's completely illegal and would have gotten him arrested). What he did was completely legal.

Yes it is ok, The second amendment doesn't say anything about not being able to tote weapons for self-defense while in the presence of megalomaniacs with a God complex.

No one brandished a firearm at the President. That is illegal and they would have been arrested immediately.

I will answer this typical rant with a question; were the firearms loaded, and pointed at Obama? ? ? Well were they? ? ? No!
I trust a law abiding gun owner, over a career liberal politician that loves unarmed peasants any day!
Thanks for the two points anyways. . .

What are you smoking? No one brandished anything. Look up the word inthe dictionary if in doubt

He had a gun big deal, it's not like he pointed it at him like you are trying to mislead people into believing.
