Da Bird cat toy....refills....?
bought one for my cat which he loves, yet tore it apart in a couple days. the refills at the local pet store are $7 a piece, anyone know of a good website that has cheap refills, maybe with no/low shipping costs or something? any info can help my boy have extra fun. thx.

I've done my own refills using molted Canadian goose wing feathers. You can do the same with chicken feathers too, but use the wing feathers, they need to be stiff.
The Da Bird website has refills but they're likely priced at what you saw them at in the store.
I googled 'cat toy feather refills' and found this site which has Da Bird refills for $4 -- http://www.cattoys.com/dabirdrefills.html
Do the same search and see if anyone has them cheaper.

Is there a chance you can link the particular toy you are talking about? Some of the "refills" for these toys can be made at home, but not all of them...
