Is there such a product available as Battery or Solar Powered Pet Fountains?

I have the Drinkwell Platinum Fountain, but has an electrical cord attachment for power. I was wondering if anyone knows of solar or battery operated Pet Fountains as I would like to place one in the cat pen where there is no electrical power points.

I had thought of solar powered ornamental water features, but they don't have the water capacity and filtering system that pet fountains have.

Many thank for any suggestions.

I can't come up with any product except this conversion gizmo that you'd have to import from England!

I strongly suspect that you could make something on your own, I mean for converting the existing fountain to solar. In fact, I know it can be done. Do I know how? No.

I suggest you re-post this question in the green living section and others like the geeky ones. Include info like how many watts the fountain uses.

No, as far as I know, there are no solar-powered adult toys. Why would you need a solar-powered one to use it outside...? Wouldn't the regular battery operated or electric ones be sufficient?

I found one but it is British, called Cat Mate. I hope this would work for you.
