Do you know of a tea that helps you sleep?

I'm not talking about chamomile or any of those. My friend had something called "sleepy time tea" and it helps her sleep. And she has been taking heavy duty prescription sleeping pills for years. My tolerance is really high to drugs and I have serious trouble sleeping. Anyone know of this tea or one like it?

Update:

I do have Valerian Root capsules (which smell disgusting). They don't seem to work. I take A LOT of Tylenol PM, and have found other drugs and such don't help me sleep.

Also, the tea my friend had was an east coast co. not a major brand.

Update 2:

I know how caffeine affects me...believe me that is not the reason I can't sleep

yeah "sleepy time tea" is a good tea that has most of the same ingredients as chamomile. A high tolerance to drugs wouldn't matter in this situation though. Sleepy time tea has natural ingredients that help to close the mind and slow the body down. I wont lie personally I have a terrible time sleeping and the tea doesn't work for me. But everyone is different and I would highly suggest it. I also tastes fine. I think you can get it in mint flavors that are very good.

Sleepy time tea is by Celestial Seasonings, and a blend of chamomile and mint.

Valerian work pretty well, but tastes like Dirty sock water...and can have the an irritating effect on some people...

Kava can be relaxing...but again, it tastes awful...however, a squirt of lemon and honey go a long way...

I think chamomile is good for calming nerves- peppermint is for upset stomachs. The brand- Biglows has several non caffeine teas that taste good. Celestial Seasoning are big on non caffeine teas. Many taste great.

This is the tea she was talking about; sometimes it is available at Wal-Mart, sometimes not. Whole Foods or a alternative medicine shop should have this or something similar. Also you can get Valerian capsules (that's what puts the sleepy in this tea) at Wal-mart near the vitamins.

Chamomile Tea will relax you and put you right to sleep

uhm, I think most teas have caffeine in it. Caffeine is the stuff in coffee that helps you wake up and stay awake...so maybe skip the tea before bed time and you might be able to fall asleep easier.
