    Read Deuteronomy 24:16

    Ezekiel 18

Jeremiah 31:27 and judge for yourself if God would really need to do it or was it still necessary after all the those declarations from the God you were taught about had been made clear long before Jesus was born.

Would you really believe that God became so desperate that He would change His words? Numbers 23: 19 God is not a man that should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change mind. does He speak and not act? Dose He promise and not fulfill?

What are you trying to emphasis by "begotten"?? Sired by god???? That belongs to the lower animal function of sex. How can you attribute such a quality with god.

I noticed Christians have destroyed the word god (by attributing humanly things to him {hungry, thirsty, DIES}), they destroyed mathematics (1 person+ 1 person+ 1 person= 1 person), logic (2 days and a night equals 3 days and 3 nights). They also destroyed grammar ( unfortunately, like Jonah means nothing like Jonah).

The Jews, farmers and goatherders of the time didn't have telescopes, or microscopes, or groundbreaking medical treatments, or scientific advancements at the time. Sorry.

I, too, would be creative if I had nothing to explain the world I lived in.

Did you know that I grew up in a Southern Baptist church and heard that verse a million times? And that I've read the Bible and realize the OT character is nothing like the NT one (Jesus)?

God can still forgive without blood. A loving God would not ask to his own son's blood.

If it did indeed happen, don't you think it was an empty gesture.

Dying and coming alive 3 days later is not really dying and can you tell me what was actually sacrificed.

I am totally underwhelmed by the whole joke.

Yeah, an all-mighty god sacrifices his son (who is himself). He could have done the same without a sacrifice (being all-mighty), but just wanted to make a show.

Yeah, sounds like 1st century mythology to me.

Sounds like a crazy stalker to me.

If it came to murdering your own son, that's not love, that's obsession!

Couldn't the omnipotent creator of the universe snap his/her/its divine fingers and accomplish the same thing?

That is one requirement. Baptism and the Eucharist are also necessary. Did you know that outside the Church, established by Christ, there is no salvation?
