It'll sound like a cop-out, but by far: Harry Potter.

His portrayal of Snape is absolutely perfect, if you read the description and got that image engraved in your mind of his character, then saw the movies, it's absolutely flawless.

The entire Harry Potter series is essentially based around the character Snape, (Rowling admitted to casting Rickman personally and before anyone else) as Rowling has pointed out, and Rickman did an amazing job with the character.

Bottle Shock and Snow Cake. But, I think I liked his characters personality the best in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Although he had a wonderful performance in Sweeney Todd, (where he did his own singing), he's always going to be remembered as Hans Gruber from Die Hard. That character is listed as one of the top 100 villians in the movies of all time.

That's really tough he's such a great actor. I guess my fave performances are Col. Brandon in Sense and Sensibility or Hans Gruber in Die Hard.

Die Hard followed by the Harry Potter movies.

I love all his movies but I really liked "Bottle Shock". he's a french wine guy and he comes to napa,CA to find wine to compete with the french. He is a great british snob that lives in france and goes to napa, lol.
