Do you think this group should be illegal?

Ok, so we all know that the responsible adoptive parents, adoptees & first Moms here report slimy paps who troll for babies.

I think this group thinks they may have found a way to get around YA TOS. This woman is trolling YA, and this is an answer she recently posted to a RAPE VICTIM.

*************************

Poor you. I understand the fact that it was not somethink you wanted to expose to anyone and most people do that. Its a shame that this jurk might have gotten you pregnant... but in case you are and don't want to abort here is a privite group you might to consider joining.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MyPrivateAdoption/ its to help people like you and people wanting to adopt find each other.

I am very sorry and if you are pregnant and are lost maybe the Lord will make you loose it... if not come and join us... you can just talk and express your feelings without anything else...

I will pray for you for streight, hope and support.

***********************************

Terrible spelling errors aside, do you think this type of solicitation should be allowed here on YA! ? I know I report and thumbs down every response I see from this predator. Id like your opinions on this.

Update:

I will email you the link to the original question, I dont want to get in trouble, lol.

This is morally repugnant. It is horrendous to go through the trauma of rape and discover that you are pregnant. Your world just stops, and you have to make huge decisions when you are unable to focus and are trying to just exist without losing yourself. Rape takes away the person you were, and it takes years to find the person that you will be. The old you is gone forever. Rape and rape pregnancies are catostrophic to the heart, the mind. It is really offensive when people prey on this extreme vulnerability in a person to exploit them for the flesh that they are carrying.

    I know. I lived it.

I don't agree with what they're doing, and I do think doing it on the Yahoo site is a violation of the terms of service, and therefore should be reported.

But... illegal? Under what law? They're covered by free speech (and freedom of assembly if they actually meet,) just like the rest of us, unless they do something violent or criminal.

I think it's profoundly ethically wrong to try to have that kind of coercive influence on vulnerable pregnant women. But the law isn't based on my opinions, and shouldn't be. This is one of those cases in which there's a difference between ethics and the law.

Wrong? Yes. Appropriate to ban from this site via terms of service agreement? Without a doubt.

But actually illegal? Sorry, no. Freedom of speech is too important, and shouldn't be taken away just because I strongly disagree with what they're saying.

you know, it's people like that who are giving all of the adoptive parents around here a bad rap...

Isn't it bad enough the poor girl was raped (and now possibly pregnant) without pretty much hoping that she LOSES the child (by the grace [!?] of God)? Ick, disgusting.

    P.S.

lol can you send me the link too Linny? I'm rather curious about this =)

"...maybe the Lord will make you lose it."? YUCK!

As for the rest of it, this was posted in an answer?!

How does that NOT violate the TOS? It was posted in an answer as a direct solicitation for another website or organization...Isn't that a violation?

Was the questioner asking about adoption? It's wrong, either way, but I'm curious as to just how far this went.

LinnyG, can you post a link to the original question? If not, that's cool, I just wanted to check it out. :-)

ETA: Thanks LinnyG. :-) And if that one wasn't reported, the one above it CERTAINLY is, and I reported him. Ick.

This is disgusting. And it's interesting that the grammar and spelling is so awful - what kind of intelligent, thoughtful person would write to someone this way? If it's not illegal or against the rules, it should be.

Wow why would the person say that what was the question? Do you remember where the question was?

That response just screams mother f*ckin psycho who should be kept away from children at all cost. I can see her as one of those baby nuts who befriend a pregnant woman only to gut her and steal the baby.

It is my sincerest hope that any one thinking about giving away their child would see from a mile away that this person is demented and stay as far away from her as possible!
