So Bush bashing is "tiring, and boring and old" and yet a 40 year old accidental death isn't?
Republicans think that they can talk bad about a man who accidentally got a girl killed THE DAY he died, but bashing a man who is quite probably a war criminal and had a bunch of war criminals working for him is 'tired, and boring and old'.
Yeah.
No wonder 40% of the population supports Sarah Palin for President.
Yeah. Kennedy did something scummy. Let's assume the worst, hypothetically speaking for comparison purposes.
That's a guy who was an asshole for one night and tried to make up for it but did it in a way that pisses conservatives off.
Then we've got a guy who got us into Iraq for the wrong reasons. Let's assume the best for purposes of comparison. Even if that were the case, Bush's idiot strategy BEFORE the surge of just sitting on his hands doing nothing for YEARS got hundreds of soldiers killed for no reason.
And yet Bush bashing is 'tired' and 'old.'
Do you people even have the CAPACITY for self evaluation? Is it even genetically possible for you?
No. It isn't enough. He wasn't trying to 'protect america'. Dick Cheney gets his rocks off acting the tough guy. He is one warped mind and has never apologized for anything he has done.
Kennedy did. Hell even Bush did.
Cheney hasn't apologized for anything. It isn't going away. We don't care if you're 'sick' of it. We're going to keep bringing up Bush and you're going to keep being pissed off about it.
Deal.
Nazi War criminals were hunted 50 years. War criminals never get a break.
Dick Cheney appeared in front of the media 'defending' his legacy. Karl Rove is a Fox Commenter.
By your own rules they are fair game.

Just read the post..Bush protect us...what a joke! People are so naive! Guess she did not hear about Ridge questioning the validity of the terror alerts...so close to the election.
You are right...republicans have no rhyme or reason. They just attack! Kennedy's good work in his lifetime overshadows that one night!
Laura Bush was drunk and killed a guy...but we don't whine about that. And then there was Bush's girlfriend that had an abortion. Bush was for it before he was against it. Then there is the stripper girlfriend he has to dump when he ran for President. And the issue of his nasty coke habit in Maine. And the reason he would never have a physical when he was part of the Texas champagne corps. We have a lot to post negative...but why do it when his performance was so terrible. I think that is the key...they cannot attack him on a professional level. They know Kennedy was truly a great man!

Before figuring out I could want extra knowledge, corresponding to have been variety defense officials there? Were the ones charged on web site on the time? Who was once looking the to be had guns? Who loaded the weapon and gave it to him? These are simply a number of the questions I could desire spoke back earlier than selecting what fees, if any, to dossier. In studying articles in this tragedy, I haven't begun to uncover many solutions to a couple fundamental questions like the ones above. It could also be that there's knowledge to be had to the prosecutor that has NOT been published, and even "leaked", to the media.

Although I chose the article for a picture of a long, dead girl just starting out in life and it does not mention it, believe me or not, dilligaf, but did you know that Mary Jo Koechne, died of asphyxiation not drowning? That means while Kennedy was "panicking" over his sinking career chances, Mary Jo was panicking over the loss of her life trapped in an air pocket of a submerged car until the air ran out. I myself can forgive someone for an accident [as Laura Bush had when she was 17] but I cannot forgive leaving a girl to die and the delay in reporting the accident to the authorities because he was "panicked". I never respected the man when he was alive, so why am I obligated to respect him in death. Change the name from "Kennedy" to "Bush" and you all would be dancing in the streets like West Bank Palestinians after 9-11 and don't lie! I will cry no more over Teddy's death anymore than I would OJ's...

Most Repubs are just glad when anything happens because it takes some of the attention off of their sorry political party. Just because they are at the bottom of the political chain. The delight in others sorrows. Mr. Kennedy was a fine man and they can never take that away from the ones like me that knew him as a fine and upstanding man.If they can forgive Bush for being responsible for the death of thousands and still counting, surely they can forgive a man who made a mistake and ask to be forgiven for it.

The main problem is Teddy swam away and didn't report the car in the bottom of the river until the next day. That is hard to forget. Anyone else other than a Kennedy would have been finished politically the next morning.

It May have been "accidental", BUT it was the Senators actions that occurred After the accident happened that the majority of us are offended by. The actions of a man who can't take responsibility for his actions/ decisions.
The man left a woman to die and didn't bother to call any authorities for help or to report it to what 9-10 hours later.....
Source(s): Keep in mind some of us weren't even alive when this incident happened or was too young to even know about it, so it just might be that a lot of the people posting about it are just now feeling the outrage over the debauchery that is the Kennedy legacy. - MattLv 41 decade ago
I am against a lot of what Ted Kennedy stood for, but I agree there is no reason to discuss what happened 40 years ago. It wasn't murder, he didn't make the best choice, but he is dead so what is the purpose of talking about this?
- MooseLv 61 decade ago
Bush is out of public politics and Teddy was in there for 47 years, 40 years after the fact and makes him fair game.

I'd have to agree with "live free or die". This act was inexcusable at a very profound level. It's very telling of the man's character. Not that there was an accident, but that his first thought was for his own reputation.

What "war crimes" did he commit and be specific if possible, who is he accountable to and who is going to charge him with these 'crimes" your ranting is somewhat irrational.
