By answering te first part of your question will eliminate the second part.

    Reform health care:

First remove all illegals from being covered by our current systems. If they can not pay they can return to their countries. No exceptions.

Second remove those who refuse any and all attempts to cover themselves with private insurance from government assistance. Again their situation is their choice.

Third Install TORT reforms limiting frivolous law suits.

Fourth Investigate and correct inefficiencies in the current Medicare program. Such as paying outlandishly fees for some tests. I will give you a personal example. It was suggested by my Physician that I should be tested for sleep apnea. The test which was two parts, first part to determine the extent of my condition, second to assess the proper setting for the corrective equipment. These tests encompassed two nights in a room that had the quality of a cheap motel connected to monitoring equipment. The first night was approximately four hours and the second night was approximately six hours. The combined costs of these test was almost $7000. The persons administering the test were not highly trained Doctors or even Registered Nurses. They were more like an auto mechanic who hooks you car up to a maichine to do front end alignment. Sorry to take so long but this is a personal experience which I feel was extremely overpriced.

Work with employers to install incentatives to keep their employees in "good health" programs.

Assemble panels of everyday people to discuss and assist in placing a health care system in operation that will truly be for the good of the people while allowing for the Insurance Companies, Doctors, Hospitals and health care providers to operate at a reasonable profit.

One addition to the illegal immigration policy. Arrest and deport all illegal immigrants. They should be classified as criminals and treated as such. After all the first act the did on american soil was a criminal act of entry without proper documentation. Enforce the laws not on the books. Enforce strict fines for anyone who employees illegal aliens.

Public education is a fairly easy fix. First "force" parents to take responsibility for their children. You may think that can not be done. I say with the right persuation techniques it is a relative inexpensive task which can be accompolished in rather quick fashion.

Second. Reqire teachers to teach facts as they are printed in approved text books. This practice of allowing teachers to present their opinions has nothing to do with the correct education of students. Place more emphasis on reading, writing and arithmetic. Please explain to why a high school student needs psychology !

Third. Require school board members to view and assure that text books are historically correct. If they do not have the time than we should not have them.

Fourth. Reimplement the "School Board" and apply it liberally when justified. If a parent objects to having the School Board applied to their child then the parent will be allowed to stand in for their child.

These are a few quick simple solutions that would get us on the right track

    Health care:

Tort Reform and deregulate the insurance industry

    - Cap lawsuit payouts

    - make the insurance companies compete

    - buy health insurance like car insurance - pick your benefits, what you need and want - like car insurance - have the companies put together plans like they do for car insurance

    Illegal Immigration

Close the borders and make the citizenship process more stringent

    Public Ed

The President doesn't have much control over Public Education - this comes from the State level.... so you'd have to discuss this with 50 Governors... You could strip the states of this control.... but I think that's a whole lot of mess and well take billions upon billions to revamp....

  • If I were President, I would recognize the Federal government has no legitimate role in health care. I'd ask Congress to repeal the laws that caused the problems in the first place and meanwhile order executive departments to cease enforcement on the grounds such are patently unconstitutional.

If I were President, I would ask Congress to re-authorize the border security that was de-funded in 2007.

If I were President, I would recognize the Federal government has no legitimate role in public education. I'd summarily fire the entire Department of Education, the very existence of which is repugnant to The Constitution.

Enforce the laws that make it illegal to hire illegals. Go aggressively after those employers. Check the social security numbers to verify who owns the SS card. We could take care of this problem if we just worked to enforce the law. That is presidents job.

I thought Bush fixed education when he passed "No Children Left Behind" As a teacher, this really made things bad.

They are things that can only be discovered after hundreds and hundreds of trials. And of course, strict restriction needs to be in place. However, because the basis of science is always changing due to new discoveries, we need to also have sympathy to the drug company as well. They are not miracle makers, they only try to make profits by selling something that they "think" might help other people. Imagine the world without antibiotics and other medication, how many people would have to die? If we agree that science can be changed, the drug company might not have an excuse of increasing medication prices because of law suit. Also if we look at any other area that has used the socialist system it has bogged down and failed to live up to its Utopian promise. No system is perfect but open and free market is the best out there.

Investigate why the US can't have health care for all funded like the rest of the world.

Station troops on the border with orders to fire at anyone crossing the border illegally.

There's nothing wrong with public education except building too many new buildings with swimming pools and funding sports at the detriment of a true educational environment.

Healthcare ... basically just disband the HMOs and carbon copy the Japanese system to the best extend possible. Doctor are rich in Japan, if you bump your knee there you get an MRI for $100, you never wait for a doctor, the average appointment lasts 10 minutes, and there are very high satisfaction rates all around at the accuracy and efficiency of the system.

Immigration ... I support all forms of birth control, there are too many people on the planet and reducing people entering the U.S. will help to reduce global population densities.

Education ... It basically needs to be revamped to focus on math/science like they do in China. Only 9% or so of U.S. college graduates receive technical/engineering degrees whereas in China 40% graduate with engineering degrees and they are graduating 8X-10X as many people. This is the primary reason China is getting ahead of the U.S. and our economy is beginning to fall apart.

Health care and education I'd turn over to the individual states to handle their own business. "We the people"

Immigration I'd continue with a secure fence/WALL along the north and south borders. Deport all illegals back to their homeland. and call for the National Guard to patrol the borders should problems continue.

I would follow the US Constitution---Let the States handle it--Health care is not a Federal problem--Illegals IS--round up every Immigration Law Breaker and send them back--it the return lock them up--we have plenty of land in Texas, Az., N.M....--just put up Barbed wire, hire Blackrock as security and shoot anyone who tries to escape-Public Education--again it is a local / state issue not one the Feds should be involved with.

1.Exactly what President Obama is doing, insuring everyone, but not adding to the debt.

    2. Enforce borders like they should be, and ARE in most of the world. Give illegals ONE chance to leave & inform them that if they are caught after that, they will have to work agriculture IN PRISON FARMS. Our border security is a JOKE & it's time to be serious.

    3. Pay teachers a decent wage & the good ones will stay & compete & the lousy ones can work in day care, which needs to be as available as public education.
