JWThoughts--I agree with voting out all incumbents. But you can't limit it just to primaries. You have to include all general elections, all parties, without exception.

I wish.
The only way that politicians are going to get a clue is if we vote out 100% of them within the next 2 elections cycles. I have pledged to vote for the non-incumbent in every primary election no matter what. If we turn over 100% of Congress, they will be put on notice that they DO work for us and we CAN and WILL fire them.
ADDED: For the general election, I would also vote out the incumbent. I only mentioned the primaries because there are some democrats that I would really not like to vote for against an incumbent republican...I would to get them all out...but I would not like it...In some cases, there are no differences anyway.
mandog...You liberals are hilarious. If you get 20,000 together it is a huge success. If this bi-partisan gathering gets 50,000 (low estimate) to 150,000 (high estimate) you comment on the percentage (and your math sucks). And yes, it is bi-partisan. It is made up of people who are tired of government waste from both parties as well as independents.
iraqisax...Although I agree that there is little difference in the parties, completely replacing Congress would have ONE major impact. It would put them all on notice that we are going to hold them accountable and actually pay attention. That alone would let them know that they better represent the people or lose their job. When we have a 9% approval rating at 2008 election day and re-elect over 80%, they fear nothing.

No, many of the sheep have been dumbed down, and judging by a few of the last answers they walk among us here on YA. I think people are waking up to the fact we are being railroaded into a socialistic, communistic country at lightening speed. These anti-American bastards can't destroy the country fast enough. I'll go down kicking and scratching when they come.

It's not enough to vote out the incumbents. Replacing a socialist Democrat with a Socialist Republican, or a globalist Republican with a globalist Democrat is not solution. I think the disemboweling of the Democrat and Republican parties, or at least one of them is more along the lines of restoring Constitutional government.
As long as we have a one-party system disguised as a two-party system, we continue to elect globalist, socialist who have contempt for our Constitution, our nation and for us. The majority of these politicians have sold their souls. They need to be replaced by real Americans.

Don't listen to the liberal answers here. They are scared because in recent days we have proven we are not powerless as Obama has been telling them. We ousted Van Jones. Exposed ACORN, Inspired Rep. Wilson to stand up to Obama, and changed votes they needed to pass their socialist healthcare program. And we are just getting started...

The Democrat Party will never get a clue. They will just keep their diligent march through Socialism toward Communism. I march, I give out copies of the constitution and I vote so I'm with you though the Democrats know if they steal from Peter to pay Paul and Pable they'll usually win w/ 2/3rds of the vote. We need to stop this to remain free.

hi , i was about to blaze you but i actually agree on some points with you. the health care companys have paid over 300 million in lobbying money to stop the health care reform. so i agree there is a lot of corruption there. dems and republicans have gotten money to stop it. the bad part is that justice roberts and the rest of the court are hearing a case on limiting corporate donations. roberts is for allowing them to do more donations. so if you want to stop corruption you might want to talk to bush who appointed him its possible that you are talking about health reform . in which case you should call your republican buddys to abolish medicare an medicaid. because they are government run. have them abolish vet care because that is too. we need to drop the chip programs thats government too. in fact we can stop them all the post office the police the education system the fire departments the library the army all of them.
Source(s): how is it that you would fire a coach who made a public statement that his organizatiom was ineffective. but you elect politiciians who say the same thing? - Michael MLv 61 decade ago
They are trying really hard to stop it. Fake bomb threats phoned in to clear out the Washington DC Tea Party Express coordinators.
What are they afraid of?
- Poohcat1Lv 71 decade ago
No. The powers that be in Washington (both parties) won't be listening or watching. They don't really care what the people think. We elected them to do our thinking for us....or at least that is what they believe.

The politicians who are heavily funded by the insurance companies will love seeing any unpaid, uninformed, and unbalanced bumpkins who show up. As they wave their crude signs and brandish their weapons to preserve those politicians' money train, it will be a great day for them.
Millions across the U.S. will gather? Don't make me laugh!! : D
