Bert, Ernie + Peppermint Patty?

I never got the gay person's viewpoint on the characters and I'd seriously (yes seriously) like to get feedback on portrayals. Are these considered gay characters in your eyes?

Thank you.

Actually, I always imagined Peppermint Patty might be bisexual because she seemed to have a thing for Charlie Brown, but also for Marcie. I always imagined Marcie to be gay because she called Peppermint Patty "sir" and seemed to be a bit overly infatuated with her. I always just thought it was my imagination, but now I wonder. o_O

I never really watched Bert and Ernie so I can't remark on them. I do recall hearing the rumors though, not unlike those about the Teletubbies and SpongeBob. I think the Teletubbies were innocent victims of gossip, but I think SpongeBob is deliberately portrayed as being, if not outright gay, then at least as bisexual... and Sandy Squirrel as well.

And as an aside... I never imagined Christopher Robin to be gay, but when I was a kid I used to wish he could be pantless like his friends. lol But that was *me* being gay, not him.

    Well, *ahem*

    Thank you,

Bert and Ernie are androgynous television puppets with a comic strip while Peppermint Patty is a tomboy comic strip with a secondary career in television.

No. that negative kind of thinking has been brought on by adults who like to dump on everything good and pure. I personally just do not take fictional characters and give them human traits. I think children should be allowed to be children for as long as possible without interjecting adult things into a world designed especially for them.

They are just tv and comic strip characters, nothing more. Now the Count, just kidding.

For morbid minds, yes There both kids programs; there was never any intention for them to be viewed that way.

They are all to young to have been inclined one way or another. Tinkie Winkie, on the other hand, has to be a major limp wrist.
