How do I keep my shins from hurting?
So I go running 3 times a week and lately, every other time, my shins hurt really bad so I can't run the full time. Is there something I can do to make it stop hurting?
I've tried stretching but so far that isn't working. Or maybe I'm not doing the right stretches? I've been doing lunges and going up on my toes and rolling back down so I'm standing on my heels. What else can I do?

I believe the problem you are describing is shin splints. Shin splints occur after starting to run (new runner) or if you bumped up your running to another level (more running). What happens is the muscle attached to your bone tears off the bone and causes pain. It will take a few hours to days to weeks or maybe even months. Try taking down your exercising to a little easier. Try taking OTC Pain medications. If that doesnt help, try OTC (over the counter) orthotics for arch supports. If they dont work, see a doctor because you need to do physical therapy. I hope I helped :)

It sounds like your just having shin splints...Only thing you can really do for them is ice them and wait for the pain to go away...You can tape them up from time to time as well when you go out running as well and it will help stabilize your shin muscles, so they don't hurt as much.
But, most importantly make sure you have good running shoes...When was the last time you bought a pair of new running shoes? Make sure when you buy them they are very comfortable, these will make a HUGE difference.

your shins or you calves? either way, I recommend hot tub or warm baths... that helps with aches and sore muscles
