What are the views of your religion on parenting vs. adoption in unplanned pregnancies?

I am researching a paper on this topic, and I am interested in as many different views as possible. I am aware of some religions that counsel that all unwed mothers should relinquish, and others that practically forbid adoptions. Please describe the views of your religion and why those views are considered correct.

Update:

A little clarification: There is a religion I'm aware of that "encourages" all unwed mothers to relinquish their babies for adoption, and pressures them into using their adoption agency. Abortion is not part of this question. The question is whether or not your religion would pressure an unwed mother to relinquish.

Our church cherishes life therefore it does not make a difference whether an unwed mother keeps her child or lets someone adopt them. My husband and I have two wonderful adopted daughters because their birth mother's loved them enough to give them life.

As a Pagan I believe that it should be the parent's decision. I also believe that my views are right for me but that I have no right or obligation to force them on others, so it doesn't matter whether they would seem correct to someone else. A person's relationship with whatever god(s) they recognize is unique to them, and since it is they who have to live with the consequences it is they who should make the decision.

I think forbidding adoption is a horrible thing to do. Anyone who will adopt a child out of the goodness of his/her heart is a wonderful person. I don't know of any religion that objects to it across the board.

i've never heard of a religion against adoptions, the fact is if you don't want to have children, use a condom. That solves all problems with abortion, adoption, whatever.

    i'm an agnostic.

i believe that it is entirely up to the mother what she plans to do with the baby-adopt it out or keep it or abort it. i believe this because it's her baby, so it's her choice.

My religion is none, and I think ending the life of a child because you are irresponsible is a horrible thing to do.

i think my religion favours tying them in a sack with some bricks and disposal in a convenient nearby waterway
