Are there any laws about where someone can put their dock on the lake?
We live at Lake Lanier in GA on a large peninsula. Last year, because of the drought, we let our next door neighbors move their dock to the other side of ours so that their dock would not end up beaching. It was within 10 feet of ours and really crowded. Now, the lake is flooding and we want them to move their dock back to their spot (where their power poll is, its about 100 yard away). They said they wont and they dont have to. What can we do? Is there laws about this? Who do we call?

Well, you seem to have pretty awful neighbors. You were nice to let them move their dock, and now they're just being rude. If you get this straightened out, before you do this next time, make a contract :)

A lot of lakes have an entity that actually owns the property around the body of water and homeowners lease it for periods of time. 10 years 20 years etc etc. If this is the case, contact that entity,
If you own the property, and the neighbors dock is attached to it, you can cut it loose, but you cant move it.
