Two separate health issues, Please help?

Ok I have two main issues, but I don't know if they are related.

The first is heavy vaginal bleeding. I get what seems like a heavy period every other week or so for the past 2 1/2 months. I was using depo, but I am coming off of it. My last shot was due at the beginning of August. I have used depo in the past and when I came off of it I went right back to my normal period.

The second issue kind of scared me. Last night I was eating dinner with my mom. I put my fork back down on my plate then for like half a second it seemed like I sort of "blacked out" and my right hand shook and knocked me fork off my plate. After that I felt really really sleepy (which was strange because I had just taken a 2 hour nap before that). My mom is a nurse and said that it could have been a stoke. I am 20 years old, I have high blood pressure, and my eating habits are pretty bad. I am 5'6", 140lbs. So could it have been a stroke? Ever since that little episode it has been difficult for me to focus. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Issue 1.- When My wife came off Depo she had a similar experience, but I would still recommend talking to your gynocologist about this. They may be tied together, or you could have something else going on.

Issue 2.- Hypertension can lead to strokes and other nasty situations. It is very possible your mom is right about this. Again, see the doctor! In situations like these you need a thorough examination, not the internet.

Your mom is a nurse & she hasn't taken you to the ER yet??

I would definitely go to the hospital & get checked out ASAP..
