when obama promised a more transparent government did he anticipate his liberal congress voting no?

Personally, I think that when Obama promised transparancy, he was under the impression that "We the people" are blind and would be unable to notice that there is none.

Well, it's not Obama's Congress, it belongs to us because we pay its wages and decide who gets to work there. Apparently he was home sick from his Constitutional Law class the day they taught this one.

And when is Obama NOT lying?

I don't think he anticipated Americans on both sides of the aisle being as outspoken as they have been. And, more importantly, he didn't figure that even a couple Democrats in Congress would listen to their constituents. I bet he was surprised to discover some honest politicians among his elite.

Obama has been the least transparent president ever. He has his school record sealed(what is he hiding), still there are question about his birth(his grandmother said he was born in Kenya), and his associations with really bad people have never been explained except that he didn't know. It really ticks me off that he said he wanted a transparent administration when he is the main person that is NOT being transparent at all. He Lies!

Come on is he lying or is it just that he has no idea what is actually going on?

It is funny though, the liberal idiots are still trying to blame the Republicans. The Republicans don't even need to show up, and the vote will still be NO.

I continue to believe that he has the best intentions in mind for the people of this country. I do not think he anticipated that this Congress would oppose him. They are a spineless bunch for sure.

He never intended to be transparent. As he said of Zelaya--he was "democratically elected" and to he!! with what happens once you are in. All bets are off.

It is the conservative congress saying no. Remember, not all democrats are liberals but all republicans are brainwashed conservatives and are robots to the party. I do not like those democrats with no guts but at least they are not just going with the party line because saying no is fun.

i love this congress..it may very well be the last democrat majority...
