What does fear inspire ?

.

Provided you are not in it's path......

Does an erupting volcano cause fear yet be inspiring at the same time?

Is it inspiring when you know how infinitesimal you are when witnessing such an event?

Isn't it fear inspiring to know a Supreme Force such as God will put an end to death? And cast Death and Hades in to the Lake of Fire!

What is fear..... when inspiration can relieve the condition that fear creates?

.

Update:

PropReno....

My dear friend....Truer words hath not been spoken

"power and majesty of our little planet Earth"

Right on Spot! ,Vundarba`r. That's a Gouda !

Nature is a strong vapor for the Mind!

Update 2:

Nobodyknowsme....

Those are most things fear creates but inspiration overtakes and freezes fear in it's tracks. Instead of fear freezing you in it's tracks.

What is fear..... when inspiration can relieve the condition that fear creates?

Update 3:

MUHAMMAD.....

A volcano eruption, an earthquake, a hurricane, a large flood, a sand storm or a tsunami inspire terror and the instinct to run away, doubled by giant respect and admiration for the forces of the God - or Mother Nature. But then even the worse atheists start praying.

Fear does not inspire anything but it does promote a lot

    of unclear thinking.

Since we are made in the Image of God, we are deathless,

spiritual beings. We know that we will all shed the body

after being on earth for a time. We don't know when that time will be

so we worry constantly. We worry about storms and floods

cold weather, too much sun, being killed in a war or on a city

street by accident or as a result of crime.

A Course In Miracles says "there is nothing to fear". I wondered

about that lesson for a while but finally realized that our higher

self does know the outcome and is not fearful.

The forces of Nature ARE quite awesome, are they not Bilbo?

But for me, rather than inspiring fear (which they most assuredly would if I was in danger of my life and my instinct for survival kicked in), they inspire a deep respect for the power and majesty of our little planet Earth.

Not to mention the rest of the Universe which works on a much grander scale.

    Boggles the mind..

The definition of fear is as follows:

Fear = false evidence appearing real.

Gods perfect love drives out fear.

John 3:3-5 means, "If someone wants to be born again, they should be born of water and the Spirit. Here water means the baptism of Jesus, which does away with all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit means that Jesus who received baptism from John the Baptist is God Himself.”

Even though we look forward to the end of all wickedness as well as the paradise and all the blessings that will follow...Who of us will ever really be ready for that day? I love the points from the book 'Live with Jehovah's Day in Mind' on page 38 under the subheading 'Prove Yourselves Ready' it has some thought provoking points. I just hope that Jehovah finds me doing what he wants me to be doing.
