Should I take her to ER?
My 2 year old got into the medicine cabinet and into the Children's Triaminic Cough and Cold. I think she drank about 2 oz. What should I do?

Call Poison Control.

Probably what will happen is your child will sleep it off. But I'd call because it will take far longer to get into the ER especially if you're supposed to induce vomiting or something.

You can call poison control, take her to the ER or watch how they are acting. If she falls asleep and wont wake up that is a problem. Otherwise she should act drowsy and out of focus but should be OK in a few hours.
EDIT: Do not induce vomiting at home. This is no longer recommended treatment for most potential poisonings.

get off the computer and call poison control or 911....the ER takes too long. Give her a cup of milk to dilute it. 2 oz is alot compared to what she should be taking around 1 tsp. Depending on the ingredients she could get alcohol pisoning.

And how did she get into the med cabinet? Why are you on your computer instead of calling 911?

Yes take her to the ER.

Induce vomiting and call Poison Control, give her clear fluids.
edit...Lynx, in this case inducing vomiting is what SHOULD be done...you do NOT induce vomiting when the toxin has potential of causing more damage coming up (such as burning or closing down an airway) than staying in the gut....INDUCE VOMITING.
