What is the Republican Health Care Reform Plan? Does one Exist?
It's an issue because US health care costs were over $2 trillion in 2006 alone! AND will rise to $4 trillion by 2016. Reform is necessary.

Health costs go up by default, when new technology is introduced those people need to get paid. So when a new drug or test or scan hits the market it costs so much because they need to make up for the millions of dollars spent on researching and testing. So no matter what the costs will increase due to technology.
How are they going to cover everyone when there is already a shortage of doctors as it is. How many more millions of ppl will be added but the # of doctors will remain the same? I dont think thats going to bode wellwhen it comes to customer service lol.
To significantly decrease costs all they have to do is reverse the interstate ban on health insurance. A person in NYC is stuck paying top dollar for insurance when a person in NJ or Montana is paying 1/4 the cost. If there was cross border competition they would be forced to lower their prices

All you have to do is look , yes they have one . You won't hear about it from CNN or MSNBC or the White House they will just keep claiming that one doesn't exist.
Tax credits for buying health insurance , tort reform and more flex spending accounts
And anyone that believes that a plan is going to Cover More people , provide better care at a cheaper cost and that its not going to cost any more then currently is DELUSIONAL!!
"$2 trillion in 2006 alone! AND will rise to $4 trillion by 2016" - So What!! At least those are AMERICAN JOBS!

Yes, there are great ideas from the Republicans which are inexpensive ways to drive down costs.
The real question is why does obamacare cost so much while doing so much damage to those people on medicare (500 bil $), so an additional 20 million people get coverage? If you are really concerned about rising costs, you might want to get that answered because once the door is opened to obamacare, the costs won't stop because the government has spent the entire budget. It will add to the deficit.
To add to that, obamacare will also charge you fines if you don't have insurance.
Add to that the costs of loss of revenue from all of the medical industry which there is a report to Congress now estimating a rise in cost by 30% to all Americans.
This is a missed opportunity by our representatives in Congress for the American people. With obamacare, your $4 trillion estimate is way off.

Yes, one version of a bill is H.R. 3400. However, Democratic leaders including the President refuse to consider it. Partly, due to that fact that it has torte reform in the bill.
Unfortunately, the Democrats have no plans to look at why the cost to provide services continues to rise. If you don't look at reducing the costs to provide the services, then the cost to those who need the services will never go down (basic economics).

From what I've heard, the Republican Health Care Reform Plan is nothing more than blank sheets of paper.
In other words, nothing.
If they had ideas on how to make the Reform Bill better, they would have worked with the President and Democrats months ago. Did they? No! All they every did was sit and complain.

Yes it does, although the Democrats are not allowing any Republicans to be part of drafting their masterpiece.
1. Tort Reform
2. Remove interstate restrictions for health coverage.
3. Tax deductions for uninsured or self-insured
These 3 measures ALONE would reduce costs, which leads me to wonder why the Democrats have not already adopted these into "their" plan.

i've got appeared at their plan. All it incredibly is is tort reform and tax cuts that may not adequate to give up the inflation on healthcare The healthcare expenditures will proceed to upward thrust and not using a public determination...And the policies could desire to be truthfully replaced as quickly as a sparkling baby-kisser gets into workplace Republicans are packed with sh*t... Did you notice them waving their healthcare plans throughout the speech? they are going to hold us back to the Bush era we at the instant are not spending trillions on tax cuts returned, it incredibly is f*cking bullshit they could desire to awaken

They have no more of a health care plan than they did a budget plan back in the summer. I have always believed that their plan is "Don't Get Sick".

i do not belive there is a restructuring of 1/6th of our economy by the reps since it is only about 8% of american who cannot afford health care.there have been many ammendments that have been dismissed by dems. buy insurance across state lines, verifying citizenship prior to medical treatment, tort reform, insurance vouchers for the uninsured, mandatory catastropic coverage.

It's just like Santa, The Tooth Fairy and The Easter Bunny... it doesn't exist!
No answers, no reform plan - just scare tactics and fear mongering to confuse those that hate change and put their trust in their local republican representative to protect them... also insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, the lesser educated, the hard right conservatives... etc.
