What about when I cry, be it tears of Joy or pain?
Do you laugh at yourself, or laugh at others?

I'm lightened when you laugh.
I feel your joy overflowing with your tears of joy, but anger in your tears of pain.
Sometime I see the humor in it all, other times I wish it all to be humorous.
I laugh when I know less than enough not to laugh.

This is how I think about that. If God isn't laughing, it isn't funny. If God is laughing, the whole Universe Laughs. Your joy is my joy and your pain my pain. There is no part of the Universe that is not also a part of me. I am not bound by this little cage of flesh. I am the boundless awareness upon which the whole thing rests. I laugh with each crashing wave and ride like a bubble on the surface of the ocean of being and when its form bursts, I sink into the ocean from which I took form, gone from sight, gone from form and in just a short time, gone even from memory. I laugh at the coming and the going and suffer the pain of clinging to every form I take.

Laughter is one of the oddest traits in us human folk.
I laugh at myself a lot. I laugh at others some. I laugh
with others when we share humor. I cry indiscriminately.

For words cannot convince my soul

Turning up to fill this role
How could I laugh when you are hiding
Like my child, behind the door
Does this child need reassuring
Trust me just a little more..

Our sense of humour could be a little bit different, so your laugh wouldn't be mine, too - and viceversa. As for crying, well, humans share compassion, so I would be grieved, too. But I also laugh more at myself than at the others.

It could as well be "you saw my laugh and you laughed"! Tears of pain I empathize, tears of joy I join and celebrate and I laugh because I am constantly tickled by Nature to be my original nature of joy, beckoning me to join in its dance of mirth and laughter!
