Hard to say. Only 20% of adults identify themselves as Republican. Their more unpopular than the Democrats in Congress. More people have faith in the President than they do the Republican party.

They might win some seats, but it won't be the landslide like in 1994.

All indications suggest that Republicans will be better mobilized for the 2010 elections than Democrats. But you go right ahead and keep counting those eggs as chickens.

The question should be how many will they gain. You may be too young to remember, but look at history, 1994. It may tell you what is most likely going to happen. Study what clinton did his first two years, and what it caused.
