You may like to eat junk food now, but before you know it, your metabolism will slow down and you may find yourself gaining weight easier than you had in the past. With that said, make sure you exercise- the diet isn't everything :) Now for a healthy diet--

At your age, you should be consuming approximately 2000 calories/day (and more- around 500) if you exercise moderately.

Eat plenty of fresh or frozen vegetables (canned ones tend to have fewer nutrients), whole grains and fruit. Beans, lentils and rice are also very healthy foods. For the vegetables, make sure you have a good variety, since different veggies have different vitamin/mineral concentrations (so go for both green/leafy vegetables, as well as "yellow"/squashlike veggies). Dairy products (milk, non-processed cheeses, yogurt, cottage cheese) are also very important source of calcium.

In terms of meat, fish and chicken breast are some of the healthiest things you can eat. Eggs are also loaded with protein. The yolks do have a ton of cholesterol, but you should not be worried much about that now (but do be mindful when you are older). If you have a family history of high cholesterol, consuming a little less of it now may pay off in the future. Beef is also an excellent source of protein and iron, but also has a lot of cholesterol and saturated fat, so choose leaner cuts if you can. Pork (especially ham and bacon) are especially bad for you, so try to avoid them if possible.

Super-sugary foods such as candy, soda (especially bad!) and even juices can also wear on your teeth and mess with your metabolism/blood sugar levels, so try to limit your sugar intake. The ubiquitous High Fructose Corn Syrup is also bad for you (it messes with the "fullness" receptors in your stomach, and makes it longer for you to feel full). Corn syrup is actually regulated in Europe for this reason (you will notice that European-imported foods will never have corn syrup).

Limit fried foods, or anything that seems overly "processed" (as in you cannot tell what the real ingredients are! This includes a lot of junk foods). Also, watch your sodium intake. If you have too much salt in your diet, it can put you at a higher risk of high blood pressure and other cardiovascular disorders as you get older.

Drink a lot of water, take a daily vitamin and make sure you get enough physical activity.

    Hope this helps!

ok healthy eating and a little more activity will tone you up in time. you are still growing and a crash diet would be a disaster for your health and may permanently stunt your height. i am really glad this is not what you plan. eat breakfast a good cereal with semi skimmed milk about a tea cup full or 2 rounds of toast with peanut butter would be a good start to the day. do not eat food that will not give you any vitamins or minerals. avoid fried food and sugary treats choosing fruit or low fat yogurt instead tell your mom the whole family should start eating healthy say its for your teeth and general health if you don't want to talk about weight. make sure you drink plenty of water and find an activity you enjoy, start a dog walking business, join a dance class, go swimming regularly just so long as its fun and you can do it at least twice a week. you will find the shape of your body will improve increasing exercise is better than reducing food as you Really do need those vitamins and minerals to get to your optimum height and intelligence.

breakfast- whole grain toast, fruits, whole grain cereal, low fat milk, oatmel, eggs, bacan (just a little)

lunch and dinner- whole grain stuff, pasta, bread,

just not to much stuff and junk food and not a lot of meat i guess cause i think thats what you get celestoral from. like meat and big juicy hamburgers

and i don't get what your face has to do with this question????

Burning calories was a piece of cake (LOL) for me when I started using acai berry. I appreciate they say that pills do not work, but they sure worked for me, and they've been featured on CNN too. There is a free trial going on right now at http://rikump.fatfreestore.info/ , try it, what have you got to lose?
