Why doesn't the fan come on without heat or ac....lennox heat pump and honeywell thermostat, need circulation?

Moved in 6 mths ago. Ac and heat great, but have a Blaze Princess wood stove..lovely but doesn't get heat downstairs..Want air to circulate, I have this feature on thermostat..but even though followed all instructions it doesn't happen...thank you for any answers.

When we put it on 'ON' nothing happens.....

    There should be a switch that is for the fan with an "on" and an "auto" position.

    The on position should run the fan continuously.

    If not something is wrong.

    something may be wrong with your unit. is it under warranty? Have it looked at.

    'Fan only' should do that.

    If it doesn't, it's time for a service call.
