Out of these two brawlers, which one was your all time favorite?

Brusier Brody or Stan Hansen?

Both men played football together, and even the coaches and other football team were afraid of them. They were physical, stiff, good on the mic, and the original "Kliq" back in the 80's in my opinion.

In your opinion which brawler was the best?

BQ: What was your favorite Brody and Hansen match? It can be singles or tag team.

Two of the greatest brawlers in the history of pro wrestling.

My favorite is Bruiser Brody (he's one of my all-time favorites). Not only for his brawling ability but for his larger-than-life persona, aura of real danger about him, and the barely-controlled chaos that ensued whenever he appeared. Outside the ring, he was a very intelligent, well-spoken gentleman (unless crossed) with a wife and a son, inside the ring he was pretty much a modern-day caveman. Brody scared everybody because of his size, his "look", and the fact that he was a legitimate tough guy who could fight (and beat) just about anybody in a "shoot". Brody had underrated mic skills, and was sometimes very funny in promos. I got to watch Brody as a heel in the AWA and, at the same time, a face in WCCW. I've seen hundreds of Brody matches and he was one of the very few I NEVER got tired of watching. Heel or face, didn't matter, Bruiser Brody was awesome, and one of my all-time favorites.

Stan Hansen was a similar type of brawler. Huge, tough as nails, barely in control. He was also probably a better technical wrestler than Brody, but with their gimmicks that is really irrelevant. Hansen had everything Brody had except the larger-than-life aura about him. Hansen, too, was great on the mic, sometimes very funny; he is one of the all-time greats.

BQ: I've seen hundreds of Bruiser Brody matches and it would be impossible to chose just one as my favorite, so I'll have to do a cop-out and just say, any match he had against Abdullah The Butcher. One of the best feuds in history and my personal favorite Brody feud was against Abdullah.

Favorite Hansen match was against Vader in Japan. Not sure of the exact date, but it was the infamous match where Hansen hit Vader so hard that Vader's eye bulged out of it's socket (easy to find on youtube; generally called the "infamous eye popping match" or something similar) and Vader tried to push it back in. An incredibly stiff and brutal match; you don't see much of that anymore.

Bruiser Brody not only for his entertainment value, but also because of the fact that he has been involved in several real life brawls.

Bruiser Brody and Snuka Vs Stan Hansen and Terry Gordy

  • Never heard of the second one,and barely heard of the other one.If you want two true brawlers, try Batista VS CM Punk.
