Great rifles, decent price for the times. Pros: Blast to shoot, pisses off liberals. Cons: Eventually you will run out of ammo.

I own one of those. It comes with a 20" bull barrel, .993 OD. I put a 'corncob' grip on it, bipod, and BIG optics (24X scope). Yes, its heavy, but man does it shoot. I had a problem with it out of the box, and sent it back to DPMS. Service was truly incredible, and they blueprinted the chamber for me (I was getting stuck cases). First time I shot it after it came back from the factory, it was printing sub MOA groups using only the bipod and resting the buttstock on my shoulder. It was hot, late day, sun setting into my scope, and still got 3 shots touching each other. I took it to a competitive shoot, and the club director asked me if I would please give some other shooters a chance! I knew the guy, so I spent the rest of the afternoon drinking a Pepsi and plinking on the .22 range with a pistol. Unless I didn't make myself clear, I love my Panther Bull.

I don't know about their AR-15, but my son has a LR-243 and it is a nice rifle, good fit and accurate, even though it weighs over 10 lbs out of the box and he has a 4x16 scope and bipod on it which pushes it to 13.2 lbs.

I don't own any of the AR Platforms but one of my coworkers shoots nothing but and he prefers to own nothing but DPMS. He isn't much for Colt. He says the DPMS are tight, accurate ARs.

DPMS makes some good starter rifles, but if you want real quality consider building one yourself.

that is a very good rifle for the money! I have a friend that has one and I find it very accurate.

that's on the worse end for ar15s. the colt le6920/le6940 is the best, period. But the rock river entry tactical or elite are good, too. And cheaper.
