Hi, i was just wondering if you could use characters such as '&' in your personal statement when applying to university

to the first answer if you were aware of the system you would realise that you only get the gap of 4000 characters (47lines) to write a whole statement on yourself its not enough every character counts thank you

I'd stick to the full word 'and' if I were you. Only takes you a couple extra seconds :)
