Did Al Gore just prove he knows as much about environmentalism as he did about inventing the internet?

"People think about geothermal energy - when they think about it at all - in terms of the hot water bubbling up in some places, but two kilometers or so down in most places there are these incredibly hot rocks, 'cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees, and the crust of the earth is hot ..."

Really, several million degrees?

He knows very little about anything except putting on a show. He is good at this, just like Obama, so long as he has a Script prepared by someone else and a "working" Teleprompter"!

Come on now everyone knows Al Gore lost his mind months ago while counting the hanging chads from Florida and now just spends his days trying to find "Bear Man Pig" a creature he believes exists in the forest and who just might have the solution for global warming//Man forget Al Gore he's a bigger nut job than Joe Biden////

Source(s): I pity the fool but he's too far gone to help but who knows he just might run for President again in 2012 providing he finds "Bear man Pig" by then

I'm SURE YOU have studied the problem as much as Mr Gore, so we should just listen to your scewed Republican hatred and forget about keeping the AIR and WATER safe for future generations

    BTW

Exhibit A is Al Gore. People eager to lie about him continue to portray him as a liar.

Gore never claimed that he "invented" the Internet, which implies that he engineered the technology. The invention occurred in the seventies and allowed scientists in the Defense Department to communicate with each other. In a March 1999 interview with Wolf Blitzer, Gore said, "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet."

But the real question is what, if anything, did Gore actually do to create the modern Internet? According to Vincent Cerf, a senior vice president with MCI Worldcom who's been called the Father of the Internet, "The Internet would not be where it is in the United States without the strong support given to it and related research areas by the Vice President in his current role and in his earlier role as Senator."

Al Gore proves how little he knows about anything the minute he opens his mouth. I fully expect ol' Weird Al to start channeling Nostradamus next. The man is the biggest joke since Ralph Nader.

He spoke in error, just like you spoke in error when you implied that Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet.

The interior of the earth is supposed to be hotter than the surface of the sun. I'm not sure I believe that, but that is what they say.

there is a lot of free energy - wind - solar - geothermal. we either start utilizing things in a mindful manner or be caught high and dry or cold and froze.

always be mindful of destructive methods connected to any source of food or energy - we are dependent on the earth for our very survival - we will be painfully aware of that one of these days - don't pass it off to your kids.

  • He said millions instead of thousands during a live interview. Nobody in the entirety of human history has ever misspoken before. So obviously he showed by this one statement that everything else he has said is wrong.

And he never claimed to have invented the internet. That is simply another conservative lie.

Oh wow. How brilliant are you for figuring out that Al Gore had a verbal faux pas? He must be the first person EVER to make a verbal mistake. Why do people still spread the "invented the internet" lie? http://www.snopes.com/quotes/internet.asp

Yep Gore made an error. Magma is about 3000 degrees. But you are mistaken about the internet. Gore never stated he invented the internet. But you puds have to continue the lie, so I guess that makes you as bad as Gore eh?
