Meet me in St Louis, good movie, kids love it and it's Christmassy! It doesn't fall into the popular category, but check with her mum what she already has or what other people are planning to buy her, otherwise she could end up with five copies of the same 'popular' movie.
Or Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

There's a special Dora Christmas movie. Lots of young girls are into Dora and Strawberry Shortcake. I got mine the Dora Christmas one and she loves it, but she's younger than 5. My 5 yr old cousin loves Strawberry shortcake.

dora the explorer, lion king, bob the builder, something catchy you know how like bob the builder has that song "bob the builder can we fix it, bob the builder Yes we can".
