No, that is not true at all. Let me ask you a question. If a friend of yours was in a canoe and you could see from shore that there was a dam ahead that he was headed to go over; but he could not see it from his vantage point in the canoe, would you warn that friend? Would you tell him that he was in danger? Would you warn him that danger was ahead? Can you see the Love for you in this?

Yes, we must warn people that God will hold everyone accountable for every sin. But the good news is that God is Love and He had made a way for everyone to take advantage of a provision that He put in place to deal with His demands for justice. See the Love ifor you n this???

So that is where we evangelicals are coming from. Love is our motive. Love for lost souls motivates us to go on warning people and pointing the way even when people curse us for trying to bless them.

Are we not judged here on earth for our actions?

Our friends and family judge us by how we live our lives, and if we constantly break our promises, lie, cheat, or do other bad things they will say we are untrustworthy. Yet if we keep our promises, tell the truth, etc. then our friends and family will conclude that we are trustworthy.

The law judges if we speed down the road or we park in the wrong area. They are different degrees of punishment depending on bad we break the law. We get a small fine for traffic offenses, but jail time for crimes like robbery.

So why is different with God? Why do we assume that God will not judge us? If we are judged by family, friends, society, governments, etc. then why won't we be judged by God? You are of course free to ignore or disregard these warnings, but to be faithful to Jesus Christ a Christian always is willingly to share the good news of Christ and the cross.

If you really think about it the greatest act of love is to share the love of Christ. You can choose to not accept His message of love, grace and salvation, however I have the free will to share "the greatest story ever told"
