How to impress a job recruiter?

I was called in for an interview. The lady told me that I will meet with the recruiter, I'm confused. Should I expect the recruiter to interview me? I was told that the recruiter will tell me about all the open positions and she will consider me for the one that I'm interested in. What exactly should I expect when I meet the recruiter tomorrow?

In a nutshell --To be interviewed for all the positions open.

Congratulations-- You made it this far. This is the first step in the employment process at many large firms and almost all hospitals.

First, the recruiter will see just what you are qualified for and also interviewing you at the same time. If you pass this, you will meet with the recruiter and the manager of the department you will be working. Time for another interview. That done, you wait. They may or may not call you for the position.

Bottom line: Do the best you can, do not be nervous, and turn off the cell phone

Just be confident and friendly. And yes the recruiter will interview you. Not the lady that called you. Companies have HR departments so there are a number of people working not just one do it all person. Most likely the company has multiple positions available and they want to make sure you apply for the right one.
