So the stores put a whole bunch of things on sale so that people can get really good deals and people show up at like 3 am. at stores just to get good discounts. Okay. Black Friday is where it's supposed to be a "bad luck" day, and since a lot of people have bad luck on Black Friday, all the stores lower their prices. Like at Best Buy, on Black Friday, they drop their prices so much, that they have a flat screen for 699$ on regular price, but on Black Friday, they have it for 545$ or something.

I used to work in retail and black friday is when you go into the black instead of the red meaning that your store is turning a profit and not in the red anymore meaning no profits.

it's the day after thanksgiving and the BIGGEST shopping day of the year. people go out around 3 and start shopping to beat everyone else and get all the good stuff. try not to go to walmart that day because people are crazy! people WILL run you over with their buggies. but yeah on black friday, most places have big sales like jcp, walmart, and different stores like that. i would advize you to NOT go shopping on this day. even though you can get good deals, people go crazy and they fight over stuff and you just don't wanna deal with all the lines and madness. someone died on black friday a couple years ago, i forgot where, but they like got strampled or something. but yeah, that's black friday! it's not a holiday, just a mad shopping day!

some stores are in the "Red" level for purchases and money they earn, red level mean that they dont have enough money to be in the black level ,black friday is day where alot stores enter the "Black" level which is good, meaning they make most of their money on that day
